Jodie Alao

Jodie is a dedicated and adaptable Architectural Assistant with a BSc in Architectural Studies from Cardiff University. She brings strong analytical, technical, and communication skills developed through university, internships, and volunteer experiences. Enthusiastic about sustainable design and community impact, she has worked on architectural exhibitions, led youth workshops, and contributed to international volunteer projects. Proficient in a wide range of architectural design software’s and skilled in hand sketching, model-making, and site analysis, she thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys seeing design ideas come to life from concept to completion.

She also specialises in the Social Housing Decarbonisation Scheme, contributing to the retrofit and energy efficiency upgrades of over 200 social housing properties across England in the past three months. Her work focuses on improving sustainability, reducing carbon emissions, and improving residents’ quality of life. This reflects her commitment to impactful architecture that aligns with national goals for energy performance and climate resilience.
