Design of a new build 5 Bedroom home for a repeat developer client. The new dwelling involved the complete demolition of the existing bungalow and landscaping to the front and rear. The project actually got approved by the planners fairly quickly due to the fact there were double storey properties either side. We had to soften the overall look on the front elevation by including a hipped roof design instead of gable ends.

The project actually started out as a bungalow conversion but the amount of extensions and conversion works involved meant it was easier to change to a new build necessitating a new build planning application.

On the ground floor the property comprises a large entrance hall where we created access to a study, utility room, cloakroom and a spacious first reception room and a large open-plan living/kitchen with granite surfaces and bi-folding doors onto a 110 ft garden. On the first floor there are four bedrooms, a master with both an en-suite shower room and dressing room and a family bathroom with double ended bath and shower over. A further second/master bedroom is located on the top floor with two dressing/study areas. Offering a finish of the highest quality and the added benefits of underfloor heating in all the bathrooms and kitchen/living area, integrated TV points in the bedrooms, and ample off street parking
